about

We're still in isolation here in Mumbai but we've managed to brew up another track for ya! This time it's an instrumental cover of the tune by Hugo Montenegro - "Lady in Cement". The original track is part of the 1968 soundtrack from the film of the same name starring Frank Sinatra, Raquel welch and Dan Blocker (Hoss from Bonanza!).
We Spoti-stumbled across this gem (begging to be ska'd) and fell in love with it's super-coolness instantly. Hugo Montenegro was an amazing composer and conductor most famous for his iconic soundtrack on Ennio Morricone's "The Good, The Bad And The Ugly" in 1966, as well as many others. The original Lady In Cement Soundtrack album is well worth checking out, there are some really cool tracks on there!

Hope you enjoy our ska'd version which is also available on all major platforms for your streaming pleasure. If you're feeling hip and groovy, do share and spread this pastel-shaded retro goodness!

Peace and Love xx
